Frequently asked.
A small handbook for the questions that come up most. If yours isn't here, write to us — we read every note.
Section one
Getting started
Viamora is a quiet companion for the trips you take with the people closest to you. Photos, links and voice notes drop in without friction, and a structured timeline emerges — from first daydream to the recap you reread months later.
Polarsteps maps the route after the fact; Wanderlog optimises the itinerary. Viamora sits in between — it is built around the memory loop, where capture, planning and recap belong to the same gentle object, and where two people (or a few) share one canvas instead of fighting over spreadsheets.
Yes — the core experience is free, including unlimited trips, shared timelines and the recap. Pro unlocks deeper AI structuring, larger groups and editorial export, for those who want a little more.
Viamora runs on iPhone and Android, built with Expo for parity across both. A lightweight web view is on the way for desk-bound dreaming and shared moodboards.
Section two
Capturing & planning
When you drop a photo, link or note, our model parses it into places, dates and intents — turning mess into a timeline. Requests are processed on encrypted infrastructure, never sold, and stripped of identifying metadata before the model ever sees them.
Yes. Hold the mic, speak a thought — "small bookshop in Lisbon, near Time Out market" — and Viamora files it under the right trip and day. It works in the car, on a walk, or under a duvet at 1am.
Open the trip, tap Invite, and share the link in whichever app you already live in. They join with one tap, and from then on every photo and note flows into the same shared canvas.
Always. Every trip exports as a PDF recap or a clean JSON file — yours to keep, print or move elsewhere. We believe your memories should never be locked behind our login.
Section three
Privacy & account
Only the people you invite. Trips are private by default, not indexed, not shown to other users, and never used as training data — Viamora is a closed letter, not a feed.
Yes, from Profile → Delete account. Everything — trips, photos, recaps — is removed within 30 days, with no quiet copies kept on a backup somewhere.
Never. Your photos belong to you, stored on encrypted infrastructure and surfaced only to the people you have invited to that specific trip. They are not used for marketing, training, or anything in between.
Cancel any time from the App Store or Play Store subscriptions panel — the change takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your trips and recaps remain intact, free forever.
